Senior Operations Manager

<p>Reporting to The General Manager the Senior operations manager will be;</p> <p>A large retailer in Food is now looking for a Senior Operations Manager of a graduate caliber and have at least 6 years experience gained within a FMCG background.</p> <p>200,000 square foot warehouse.</p> <p>Budget control 10 million.</p> <p>Job role;</p> <p>To effectively plan all distribution operations on behalf of retailer to continually strive to improve service and reduce cost.</p> <p>To ensure delivery of Key Performance Indicators through management of core processes and driving continuous improvement through efficient use of the companies’ physical and human assets.</p> <p>To maximise the performance of the operation by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities.</p> <p>Providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the team, delivering against customer requirements, and operational performance.</p> <p>3 warehouse shift managers, 100 warehouse staff;</p> <p>• Achievement of operational performance as defined by KPIs.</p> <p>• Achievement of overall Distribution budget.</p> <p>• Achievement of personal development objectives.</p> <p>• Achievement of Health and Safety direct.</p>
