What you will do:
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips
Inspect materials for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and report issues
Accurately enter received goods into inventory systems
Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements
Generate shipping documentation (bill of lading, packing slips, labels)
Coordinate pickups with carriers and schedule shipments
Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment (if certified)
Maintain organized shipping/receiving areas
Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
What we need:
COMPUTER SKILLS
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, tracking logs)
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Ability to create and process electronic shipping documents
Experience using barcode scanners and RF technology
Comfortable with email communication and digital file management
High level of accuracy in data entry
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Good communication and problem-solving skills
