About the Role
<p><strong>Counterbalance Forklift Driver (Morning Shift) 6844</strong></p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Magor, Wales</p>
<p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:00</p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> £13.50 per hour (Temp-to-Perm)<br />

<p>First Base Employment are recruiting for <strong>multiple Counterbalance Forklift Drivers</strong> to join a busy distribution operation based in Magor. This role is working on a permanent morning shift within a fast-paced warehouse environment handling delicate products.<br />
</p>
<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Operating a Counterbalance forklift truck to move palletised goods</li>
<li>Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently</li>
<li>Transporting pallets across the warehouse and yard areas</li>
<li>Supporting the smooth flow of goods in and out of the site</li>
<li>Handling beverage products, including pallets containing glass bottles</li>
<li>Following all health and safety procedures at all times<br />
</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Key Skills of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 1 year experience operating a Counterbalance forklift</li>
<li>Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (accredited preferred, in-house considered with strong experience and proof of previous training)</li>
<li>Confident operating forklifts in a busy warehouse environment</li>
<li>Strong awareness of health and safety procedures</li>
<li>Reliable and able to work morning shifts consistently<br />
</li>
</ul>
<p>This role focuses on <strong>forklift operation rather than picking and packing</strong>, with the majority of work involving pallet movements across the warehouse and loading areas.</p>
