Maths Teacher - Retford

About the role:

Justteachers are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Retford from September 2026. This role is suitable for an enthusiastic practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 and inspire students to develop confidence and success in Mathematics. The school offers a supportive environment and welcomes applications from experienced teachers and ECTs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Monitor, assess and track student progress
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement
• Contribute to departmental planning and development

Pre-requisites:

• QTS is advantageous but not essential
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
• Reliable, organised and committed to student success
• Provide two education/school-based references from the last two years
