Mechanical Estimator - Data Centre – Ballymount

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. 
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Ballymount, Dublin.

Responsibilities

Estimating & Cost Planning
Prepare detailed mechanical estimates from drawings, specifications, and tender documentation, developing accurate and commercially sound cost plans for complex, fast-track construction projects.
Quantification & Pricing
Undertake full mechanical take-offs, manage quantities, and build structured pricing models that reflect scope, programme requirements, and delivery methodology.
Supply Chain & Procurement
Engage with subcontractors and suppliers across Ireland and Europe, issuing enquiries, managing tender returns, and ensuring competitive and compliant pricing for all mechanical packages.
Commercial Analysis
Evaluate and benchmark subcontractor bids using structured comparisons and commercial insight, supporting value-driven selection and risk mitigation across the supply chain.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with CSA and Electrical estimating teams to produce coordinated cost plans, while supporting reporting, cost database development, and continuous improvement of estimating processes.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications
Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role in a Mechanical Capacity
Must be based within a commutable distance of Ballymount

Benefits

€80,000 - €90,000 + Package
