Locum Commercial Property Solicitor

Locum (3–6 Months) Start Date: ASAP Our client is responsible for a wide range of commercial property interests including investment assets, development opportunities and occupational leases. they take a professional, commercially minded approach to portfolio management, balancing financial performance with its broader philanthropic purpose. The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Locum Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team on an initial 3–6 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a reputable, purpose-driven organisation, managing a varied and high-quality commercial property caseload. This role is fully office-based in Battersea, London and requires a confident and self-sufficient solicitor who can integrate quickly and work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities - Manage and assist with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions - Conduct title checks, property searches, and due diligence. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documentation. - Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and compliance with all legal and regulatory - Provide administrative and legal support to partners and fee earners across the property - Assist in post-completion matters, including registration and stamp duty submissions. Key Requirements - Minimum 5 years PQE with a strong background in Commercial property. - UK Qualified - Commutable distance to Battersea SW11 - Proven experience handling a high-volume caseload. - Excellent drafting and communication skills. - Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities. - Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. - Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, professional environment.
