Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function. RRT’s can work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, doctor’s offices, and clinics.
Education/Requirements:
- Associate Degree within specialty is required, some states also require the completion of a certificate program.
- Valid state license required
**12 Hr Shifts. **Must pick up 1 shift every 60 days to stay active**

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

2+ years of RRT experience in Hospital setting - Required -- CRTs will not be considered by the Department --
EPIC emr experience - Required
ALL certs must be active at the time of submission
Must be willing/able to float across different units if needed
NICU experience - Preferred
NRP Certification - Preferred
