As the Finance Manager you are responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reports, annual budget, monthly forecasts for the company. You will review reports and budgets prepared by others for accuracy and completeness and assist with problem resolution during monthly financial reporting and annual budgets processing. Additionally, you will be fully knowledgeable on the day-to-day activities of a product or process and provide assistance on complex business issues.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Primary focus of role is the day-to-day operational execution and contribution to the broader planning for the Trade and Supply Chain businesses within the Commercial Bank.  Serve as a trusted financial advisor to business leaders, providing insight and thought leadership on financial performance and profitability, including customer level reporting.
  • Manage reporting processes and financial routines, including month-end close, monthly financial reviews, rolling forecasts and strategic plans. Review explanations of exception items for sufficiency.  Maintain and enhance forecast models for Standby LCs, Commercial LCs, and Supply Chain Finance products (both fees and net interest income).
  • Support the broader finance function with the oversight (review and maintenance) of consolidated monthly financial files and presentations; including the management of wDesk functionality.
  • Analyze performance and financial data to identify and explain variances for month end reporting and to improve business decisions. Includes research, classification, and analysis of financial and statistical data and determination of appropriate approach.
  • Review internal company and industry reports to stay informed and to seek ways to drive efficiencies in revenues or costs.
  • Support financial modeling and performance assessment of new initiatives. Financial reviews and presentations for senior management.
  • Partner with the line of business on all finance related matters and provide financial guidance as appropriate.
  • Respond to other ad hoc business partner inquiries on any matter pertaining to finance.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Required Qualifications
    • Progressive Finance experience with prior experience in Banking a plus
    • Financial modeling and analytical expertise, including forecasting balances, fees, net interest income, and profitability.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear insights.
    • Proven ability to operate in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Experience with financial systems, databases and reporting packages such as Oracle, Hyperion Essbase/Smart View and wDesk
    • Detail-oriented, diligent, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or related field required.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (required 4 days in the office)

 

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $127,000 per year. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to, the budget, work location and relevant skills and experience.
