We’re working with a well-regarded secondary school in Braintree that is seeking a confident and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. You will be working in a supportive environment with a strong SEN department and an experienced leadership team. THE ROLE: Full-time SEN Teacher – Secondary setting Immediate start, ongoing position Deliver tailored lessons and support plans to meet individual needs Work closely with SENCO, teaching assistants, and pastoral staff WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent Experience working with secondary-aged students with SEN A patient, nurturing, and adaptable teaching style Strong behaviour management and communication skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) THE OFFER: Competitive daily rate: £120–£250, based on experience Immediate start – fast-track registration available Supportive school with a collaborative and inclusive ethos Potential for long-term or permanent opportunities Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
