Year 6 Teachers - Trafford

About the Role:

An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a talented Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Trafford from September 2026. This long-term, full-time role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about supporting pupils through their final year of primary school and preparing them confidently for the transition to secondary education within a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum
• Prepare pupils for SATs while maintaining a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing targeted support where required
• Create a confident, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil development
• Uphold high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• 2 school based references
