About the Role

• Validate governance set-up readiness (calendars, templates, required artifact checklists)

• Package project start-up kits (links, folders, templates, trackers) to accelerate onboarding

• Mentor others on governance discipline, documentation quality, and follow-up techniques

• Coordinate inputs across functional leads to maintain accurate view of progress, dependencies, and decisions

• Drive accountability for action ownership and due dates

• Facilitate governance forums (RAID reviews, action closure sessions, documentation reviews) to drive outcomes

• Draft decision summaries and governance communications that reinforce commitments and due dates

• Maintain stakeholder registers and meeting artifacts with required resource links

• Strengthen risk statements and mitigation plans to be specific and actionable

• Analyze aging and recurrence trends and surface early warning signals

• Recommend corrective actions and track to closure

• Facilitate periodic risk review sessions and ensure decisions are logged

• Enforce repository standards (structure, naming, version control, permissions) across workstreams

• Assemble audit-ready evidence packs and verify approvals and traceability (decision → action → artifact update)

• Execute governance readiness checks ahead of client/executive reviews and drive remediation

• Lead small improvements to governance routines, dashboards, and evidence pack standards

• Improve tools/templates and how-to guides based on lessons learned

• Mentor and standardize best practices across projects

• Analyze governance data and translate into actionable insights

• Enforce standards and perform high-quality documentation QA

• Coach peers and model rigor and accountability

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CAPM or PMP preferred.
  • 5–7 years relevant experience (PMO governance leadership, delivery support, documentation control, or regulated environments).
