This opportunity involves working on various aspects of construction law, particularly focusing on conflict resolution and contract administration. Our clients encompass a diverse range of industry professionals including contractors, design-builders, subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Participate in mediation, litigation, and arbitration for resolving construction disputes.</li>
<li>Negotiate, review, and prepare construction contracts.</li>
<li>Conduct in-depth legal research and draft legal motions and pleadings.</li>
<li>Efficiently handle discovery requests.</li>
<li>Support in the preparation of cases for trial or arbitration.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 1 year of litigation experience, with preference for construction law background.</li>
<li>Proficiency in legal document drafting and research.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in preparing cases for trial or arbitration.</li>
<li>Familiarity with construction contracts preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and explain legal aspects of construction disputes clearly.</li>
<li>Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.</li>
<li>Active law license in Missouri or Ohio.</li>
