As a Senior Business Analyst – IT Compliance and System Analysis, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to maintaining a safe and transparent technology environment. You will help develop and enhance the IT Compliance Engine (ICE), ensuring application teams adhere to critical controls and promote a secure, compliant infrastructure across the bank. Your main responsibilities:
Performing detailed analysis of the ICE product and technology landscape, including data, systems, and interfaces.
Translating user requests and issues into functional requirements, process designs, and effective solutions.
Collaborating closely with the product owner, users, and ICE development team to deliver high-quality results.
Documenting functional and non-functional requirements into development tickets with clear acceptance criteria.
Modeling business processes and creating flowcharts and data flow diagrams.
Supporting handovers, presentations, and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure successful project delivery.
Applying strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
At least 4 years of experience in business analysis, ideally within a global organization and distributed teams.
Proficiency in capturing both explicit and implicit requirements and designing appropriate solutions.
Experience analyzing systems and assessing user impact in collaboration with engineers and stakeholders.
Ability to contribute innovative ideas to improve products, services, and processes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas and concerns effectively and respectfully.
A track record of developing effective networks and fostering collaboration across teams.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
Experience working with APIs or API development teams.
Familiarity with documenting functional specifications, user stories, acceptable criteria, and process diagrams.
Language Required for the role:
Fluent English, with excellent command of written and spoken communication.
