We are partnering with a global, private equity-backed logistics business headquartered in Bradford to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth organisation with an international footprint, offering strong exposure to statutory accounting and external reporting within a dynamic environment.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely statutory accounts across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS
Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements
Assisting with month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting processes
Working closely with stakeholders across finance and the wider business
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualified
Experience in accountancy practice is advantageous
Background within audit or accounts preparation is essential
Strong understanding of statutory accounting and financial reporting requirements
Excellent attention to detail and technical accounting knowledge
Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships across the business
Proactive approach and desire to learn, develop and take ownership
