<p><strong>Job Title:</strong></p> <p>Warehouse Operative</p> <p><strong>Location</strong>: Nailsworth<br /> <strong>Hours</strong>: 40 a week:8.30 &#8211; 5.30 (1 hour lunch break)<br /> <strong>Salary</strong>: &pound;12.75 an hour</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative</strong></p> <ul> <li>Picking and packing products accurately in line with daily order requirements</li> <li>Preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly labelled and documented</li> <li>Receiving incoming deliveries and checking stock against delivery notes</li> <li>Organising and maintaining a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment</li> <li>Assisting with stock control, including regular stock checks and inventory management</li> <li>Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently</li> <li>Ensuring all goods are handled with care to avoid damage or loss</li> <li>Following all health and safety procedures at all times</li> <li>Supporting wider warehouse and logistics operations as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Skills of a Warehouse Operative</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Good organisational skills</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic</li> <li>Able to work independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Good communication skills</li> <li>Basic understanding of warehouse operations (desirable but not essential)</li> <li>Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks</li> </ul>
