Pre-Sales Consultant – Modern Workplace
Location: Central Belt of Scotland

We are currently working with a growing technology organisation that is looking to hire a Pre-Sales Consultant specialising in Modern Workplace solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in Microsoft 365 and modern collaboration technologies who enjoys working with customers to understand their challenges and shape the right solutions.

The role sits primarily on the pre-sales / solution consulting side, working closely with sales and marketing teams to design and position modern workplace solutions. It would suit someone already working in pre-sales or solution consulting, but could also be a great move for a Modern Workplace or Microsoft 365 Consultant looking to step into a more customer-facing role.

The Role

• Support sales teams during early customer engagement and discovery sessions

• Help design and recommend modern workplace solutions aligned to client needs

• Work with technologies including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and Power Platform

• Assist in qualifying opportunities and shaping solution proposals

• Provide technical insight during the sales process

• Support the handover of projects to delivery teams once agreed

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies including automation and AI

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 technologies

• Knowledge of tools such as Teams, SharePoint, or Power Platform

• Strong communication skills and an interest in working with customers

• Experience in consulting, technical consulting, or pre-sales would be beneficial but is not essential

• A genuine interest in modern workplace technologies and innovation

This role could suit someone currently working as a Modern Workplace Consultant, Microsoft 365 Specialist, Technical Consultant, or IT Consultant who is interested in moving into solution consulting or pre-sales.
