This Electroplater / Metal Plater position plays a key role in enhancing product durability, corrosion resistance, and overall quality through advanced electroplating processes. The ideal Electroplater / Metal Plater is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Electroplater / Metal Plater Location: Oxnard, CA Pay: $20.00 – $23.00/hour (DOE) + Overtime Available Responsibilities: Read and interpret work orders to determine plating requirements Set up and operate electroplating equipment Mix and test plating solutions using proper chemical processes Measure, mask, and prepare parts for plating Monitor electrical current, solution concentration, and plating times Inspect finished products using visual checks and precision tools (micrometers, calipers) Grind, polish, rinse, and dry plated materials Complete shop travelers and required documentation (training provided) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred (not required) Experience as an Electroplater / Metal Plater, metal finisher, or fabricator is a plus Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to multitask and work independently Physically able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 75 lbs Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Benefits Available: • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Insurance • $0 copay for unlimited Teladoc virtual visits • Employee Assistance Program (medical, financial, or legal support) • Coverage available for spouse, domestic partner, and children • Pet insurance available • Resources for parents with children of developmental disabilities Hiring Requirements: Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
