We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Area Hotel Manager to join our client's prestigious hospitality group, with venues across Scotland. This is a permanent role, where you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the operational excellence and success of a collection of fantastic hotels, leading dedicated teams and driving continuous improvement. This position offers an attractive salary ranging from £48,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities in your new role as Area Hotel Manager

As our new Area Hotel Manager, you will be:

• Instrumental in ensuring the seamless, high-quality operation of all properties within the collection.
• Providing essential ongoing support, proactively identifying challenges, and collaborating closely with Senior Management, Directors and their teams to implement effective solutions.
• Upholding outstanding day-to-day operational standards and managing staffing levels in partnership with venue General Managers.
• Maintaining regular, clear communication with senior leadership.
• Providing direct, hands-on support to venues and offering relief management cover as needed, ensuring continuity and excellence across the portfolio.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are searching for a highly experienced and resilient leader, ideally from a luxury hotel background, with a proven track record of longevity and success within the hospitality industry. You will possess strong hotel management experience, having operated at Senior Duty Manager, Operations Manager, or above, demonstrating an exceptional understanding of high-end hotel operations. This role demands a truly hands-on operator and leader who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. 

Due to the multi-site nature across Scotland, you must have access to your own transport and be willing to travel to different venues, often at short notice, with the flexibility to stay for longer periods.
