Shift: Rotating Nights 6:00pm to 6:00am [Wk 1: Mo/Th/Fr. Week 2: Tu/We/Sa/Su, then repeat. Training will occur on day shift (2 weeks max)]

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
Job Summary
The Warehouse PIT Operator I is responsible for operating powered industrial equipment to safely and efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse. This role supports inbound and outbound operations while maintaining accuracy, safety, and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, and move materials
- Use handheld scanning devices to track inventory with a high degree of accuracy
- Load and unload trailers as required
- Perform inbound receiving and staging processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 7S standards
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Demonstrate commitment to process improvement and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks (PIT)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when necessary
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to lift and carry items of varying shapes, sizes, and weights
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle tools, controls, or equipment
- Ability to work in hot and/or cold warehouse environments
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
