Machine Technician
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000
Shifts: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
Key Responsibilities of this Machine Technician Role:
- Keep machines running to the required settings and production standards
- Complete regular quality checks at the packing area and record results
- Carry out mechanical adjustments, refitting and realigning parts
- Operate machinery safely and maintain strong production flow
- Report faults, wear or issues and support basic remedial actions
- Load and replenish raw materials correctly
- Maintain high housekeeping standards around machinery
- Follow shift instructions and contribute to reducing waste and downtime
What We’re Looking for this Machine Technician Role::
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Confident operating machinery (milling, CNC, moulding, extrusion, or similar)
- Practical mechanical understanding and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and a hands‑on, safety‑focused approach
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Mechanical background or training is highly desirable
