About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher, who is looking for a long term role in a Secondary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway. This high-achieving secondary school has built a strong reputation for academic excellence and positive student outcomes. Key Skills and Attributes: Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons up to KS4 Teaching topics including algebra, geometry, statistics and ratio Preparing students for GCSE Mathematics examinations Assessing attainment and identifying gaps in learning Delivering targeted interventions to improve outcomes Using assessment data to inform lesson planning Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential Contributing to curriculum planning within the Maths department Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Previous UK secondary teaching experience Experience teaching Maths up to KS4 Strong understanding of GCSE Maths curriculum requirements If you are interested in this role, please apply via the form below
