Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water & Environment
Midlands-based (Coventry, Derby or Tamworth)
Offering up to £80,000 + Benefits Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team on a major water treatment project. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of high-value infrastructure programmes, delivering sustainable solutions that shape the future of water and environmental services across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead commercial delivery of major capital programmes.
Administer NEC3/4 ECC contracts (Options A, C & E).
Oversee budget control, payment valuations, and cost forecasting.
Conduct feasibility studies, tender preparation, and risk management.
Manage post-contract delivery including variations, claims, and final accounts.
Provide commercial input into strategic bids and business development.
Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc/MSc).
Full RICS membership or advanced progress on APC pathway.
Strong NEC3/4 contract expertise.
Experience in water, environment, defence, or nuclear sectors.
Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card desirable.
Line management experience.
Willingness to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week.
