About the Role
A well-established custom manufacturer in Lawrenceville is hiring a CNC Department Supervisor! The right candidate will bring hands-on CNC machining expertise along with the leadership skills to run a team of operators. Excellent Schedule Mon-Thurs 1st Shift 10 hour days $30-$35 per hour / Direct Hire! What You'll Do Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC Swiss lathes, CNC routers, and other machine toolsVerify tool paths and ensure parts meet tight tolerance requirements across aerospace, medical, or commercial applicationsSupervise and coordinate CNC machine operators and techniciansKeep machines running at optimum capacity and properly maintainedDevelop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wasteTrain new employees on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality control standardsMonitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels to meet demandCollaborate with engineers and other departments to troubleshoot machine issuesMaintain accurate records of machine output, downtime, and maintenance activitiesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC operator, including 2+ years in a leadership roleExperience with CNC programming software such as Mastercam or GibbsCAM in a SolidWorks environmentStrong working knowledge of G-code, tooling selection, post-processors, and GD&TStrong leadership and communication skills managing a team of CNC operatorsKnowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshootingExperience with sheet metal equipment preferredExperience programming laser and water jet machines preferred To apply for the CNC Machinist Supervisor position, submit your resume in response to this ad or fill out an application at impactstaffing.com.
