Express Employment Professionals, Anaheim South, a leading international staffing provider, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Bookkeeper.

Position Overview:

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of our client's business. You will handle various bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, be proficient with relevant software, and possess excellent attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll entries, and vendor invoices.
• Maintain and balance general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Monitor and manage inventory and fixed assets records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Stay up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping software and MS Office suite.
• Excellent data entry and numerical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (but not required).
