Van Driver
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations across the UK, with the furthest drop-off point being in Scotland. Applicants must hold a full driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
Responsibilities
- Operate a van to deliver goods promptly and safely
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Load and unload goods with care and efficiency
- Complete delivery paperwork and invoices accurately
- Keep the van in good working condition and report any issues immediately
- Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Provide courteous and professional customer service
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle
Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of road safety and relevant regulations
- Ability to plan routes effectively
- Good communication skills with a professional and polite manner
- Capable of lifting and carrying heavy items
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends when required
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 06:00–22:00 (with overtime as needed)
