Family Lawyer – Legal Director / Managing Associate

A highly regarded law firm in Bristol is looking to appoint an experienced Family Lawyer at Legal Director or Managing Associate level to join its well-established and growing Family team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected practice known for delivering high-quality legal advice to a broad client base, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs across the South West and beyond.

The Role

You will advise clients across a broad range of privately funded family matters, including:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedy proceedings
• High-net-worth financial settlements
• Private children matters
• Cohabitation and separation agreements
• Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements

The role will also involve developing and maintaining strong client relationships, contributing to business development initiatives and supporting junior members of the team where appropriate.

Candidate Requirements

Applications are welcomed from Family Solicitors with strong technical expertise and a client-focused approach, ideally with:

• Significant experience handling privately funded family matters
• Experience managing complex and sensitive cases independently
• Business development experience and networking capability
• The ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team
