<strong id="jmfe-label-job_benefits" class="jmfe-custom-field-label" >Job Benefits:</strong> <strong id="jmfe-custom-job_benefits" class="jmfe-custom-field " >bonus</strong><div class="job-preview__description " data-test-description=""> <p>Cloud/DevOps Manager</p> <p> Richmond, London (Hybrid &ndash; typically 2 days per week), 9 day a working week a fortnight</p> <p> &pound;90,000 &ndash; &pound;105,000 + discretionary bonus</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A fast-growing&nbsp;pet nutrition and technology business&nbsp;is looking for a&nbsp;Cloud Infrastructure Manager&nbsp;to help shape the next phase of its cloud platform and infrastructure capability.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Over the past 18 months, the technology leadership team has stabilised a complex infrastructure environment with the support of external partners. With those foundations in place, the focus is now on&nbsp;building a stronger internal DevOps and cloud capability&nbsp;and improving the way infrastructure supports engineering teams.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This role combines&nbsp;technical leadership with hands-on engineering, leading a small DevOps team while helping guide the architecture, reliability, and security of the organisation&rsquo;s AWS environment.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You&rsquo;ll work closely with software engineering teams to improve&nbsp;platform architecture, infrastructure practices, and cloud reliability, while helping define a clear path forward for the infrastructure function.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Key responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and support a small&nbsp;DevOps / infrastructure team</li> <li>Improve&nbsp;cloud architecture, resilience, and operational reliability</li> <li>Drive best practices around&nbsp;Infrastructure as Code and automation</li> <li>Partner with engineering teams to improve&nbsp;ways of working across platform and development</li> <li>Support the organisation&rsquo;s&nbsp;security maturity journey, including Cyber Essentials+ and longer-term ISO27001 goals</li> <li>Help shape the future roadmap for cloud infrastructure as the business continues to scale</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Tech environment</p> <ul> <li>AWS</li> <li>Terraform</li> <li>CI/CD and cloud-native infrastructure</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The team are looking for a&nbsp;strong cloud generalist&nbsp;with experience across DevOps and platform engineering.
