About the Role
Our Client who is a leading provider of Technology, Civil Engineering, Design and Telecommunications services with the Highways sector are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager/Buyer to join the at there Yorkshire office.
The Role
Building and maintaining relationships with Suppliers and Subcontractors
Purchasing of materials, equipment and services
Coordinating delivery of materials and equipment
Responsible for the stock management
Managing the on and off hire of plant whilst maintaining appropriate levels of plant
Negotiating the best price on goods and services
Work with the Quality Manager to ensure the services and goods provided are compliant
Maintaining the Supplier Database
Candidate Requirements
Good communicator with external and internal stakeholders
Experience in negotiating
Strong administration
Adaptability to work on multiple activities simultaneously
Experience of MS Office Suite
Knowledge of the Highways /Construction Sector
