About the role: Location: Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire Start Date: Monday 24th August 2026 Contract: Full-Time Justteachers is supporting a successful secondary school in Melton Mowbray to recruit a committed Science Teacher for the new academic year. The school welcomes applications from specialists in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Key Responsibilities Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons. Monitor student progress through effective assessment. Encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for science. Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development. Promote a safe learning environment during practical activities. Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching Science in a secondary school. Strong curriculum knowledge. Excellent behaviour management. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
