Assistant Buyer Job Overview

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Buyer to join a hugely successful fashion company.

The Assistant Buyer will across Ladieswear, Menswear and Childrenswear multi products, including activewear, nightwear, underwear and hosiery.

Assistant Buyer – Responsibilities

• Carry trend research and work closely with customers buying teams to develop ranges
• Regularly update the critical path, ensuring all stages from development through to delivery are met on time
• Work closely with internal teams including design, merchandising, and production to ensure a smooth workflow
• Liaise with Far East suppliers, including sending comments, chasing samples, and monitoring deliveries
• Track samples, approvals, lab dips, strike-offs, and submissions, maintaining accurate records throughout
• Build and develop ranges

Assistant Buyer – Skills & Experience

• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with both customers and suppliers
• Some experience in a similar role
