About the Role

The Marketing Tech team operates as a full-stack, cross-functional unit responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the systems that power our marketing communication and analytics capabilities. As MarTech Engineer (all genders) in our Marketing Tech team, you will play a key role in building and scaling our Marketing Engagement Platform. Your mission: develop and optimize our engagement platform to enable seamless and personalized customer journeys across channels, from email and push notifications to on-site experiences. You ensure that every interaction is fast, reliable, and visually consistent with our brand. Your work spans from building Canvases and Liquid logic within Braze to creating endpoints that link on-site and off-site experiences for a seamless customer journey. You will collaborate closely with product designers, product managers, analysts, and marketers to turn ideas into reusable and scalable solutions that drive engagement and strengthen the HRS brand experience. CHALLENGE Work within and around Braze, setting up Canvases, defining logic in Liquid, and contributing to the implementation and maintenance of Braze SDK integrations. Develop, optimize, and monitor a scalable front-end code base that supports in-app messaging, content cards, and real-time personalization through seamless data flow between Braze and front-end systems. Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, Analytics, and Marketing to translate ideas into scalable, reusable components and maintain a consistent experience across channels. Ensure system health and performance by following best practices, conducting regular monitoring, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH... Proven experience with third-party tooling such as Braze or Salesforce, including setting up customer journeys, canvases, and automation flows. Expertise in Liquid and Python, with the ability to create modular, reusable components and deliver high-quality user experience. Ability to build, maintain, and monitor a modern marketing tech stack based on product requirements, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and alignment with the overall technical strategy. Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS. Experience in building and maintaining simple services and Lambdas. Collaborative development experience using Git or similar version control systems. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in a business and technical context. Experience integrating third-party SDKs into on-site experiences, managing both the UI and underlying data exchanges is a plus.
