BIM/CAD Technician Home » Civil » BIM/CAD Technician Salary: £45000 -£55000 Location: Swindon Region: Wiltshire A Tier 1 civil engineering infrastructure principal contractor is seeking a BIM/CAD Technician to support the business’ implementation of BIM processes at a Tender and Project Level This will include: – Producing and/or amending information and graphical drawings/models in accordance with the client or H TUK standard methods and procedures. – Supporting the Tender or Project team in delivering beneficial outputs from the Information model (i.e. space proofing, clash detection, 4D schedules, Quantity take-offs, still images) – Preparing models and drawings to demonstrate viability of the design and construction proposals – Supporting the BIM Manager Seeking Candidates with: – Experience working as a BIM /CAD Technician within a Civils infrastructure team. – Good knowledge of construction activities and infrastructure projects Knowledge of BIM/CAD packages including but not limited to AutoCAD (2D/3D) and experience of Bentley and Autodesk systems . Ideally have experience in using some of the following software packages: – Bentley MicroStation v8i & Connect Edition, Bentley Descartes Connect Edition, Bentley ProjectWise Connect Edition eB / Assetwise , Office 365 etc Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have; – HNC, HND, BSc, BEng or MEng degree in relevant engineering, design or CAD field   Benefits: Competitive basic salary Private Healthcare Company Pension Scheme Holidays to include Bank Holidays Progression and training opportunities
