Material Handler – 1st Shift | Weekly Pay Location: Cascade, IA Pay: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join a growing team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This material handler role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, or metalworking equipment who enjoy physical, production-based work in a manufacturing environment. Material Handler Responsibilities: Visually inspect metal parts for quality, accuracy, and defects Deburr metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools Operate metalworking and production equipment as needed Package products according to customer specifications Laser mark parts with identification numbers per customer requirements Read and follow blueprints and work instructions Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety policies and procedures Material Handler Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Previous experience as a material handler, production worker, or manufacturing associate preferred Ability to read blueprints (training provided) Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for most of the shift Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety guidelines Strong teamwork and communication skills Why This Material Handler Role: Weekly pay Competitive starting wage with growth potential Steady 1st shift schedule Monday–Friday workweek Full-time, long-term opportunity Why Work for Advance Services, Inc.?
