<h2><strong>Position Details</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday – Friday
<ul>
<li>7:45 AM – 4:30 PM <strong>or</strong> 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Direct Hire</li>
<li><strong>Salary:</strong> $54,000 – $70,000
<ul>
<li>Higher compensation considered for candidates with experience working with medically fragile students and strong classroom experience</li>

<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Deliver specialized developmental services and inclusive educational programming</li>
<li>Provide family support services</li>
<li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including:
<ul>
<li>Pediatric nurses</li>
<li>Early Intervention therapists</li>
<li>Preschool therapists</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Implement high-quality programming for children in pediatric day-respite services</li>
<li>Work within a <strong>co-teaching model</strong></li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations</li>
<li>Supervise and support teacher aides (TAs) and classroom volunteers</li>
<li>Develop and implement programs aligned with each child’s individual goals</li>
<li>Foster an environment rooted in inclusion, empowerment, and compassion</li>

<h2><strong>Education & Experience</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree required</li>
<li>Master’s degree and <strong>New York State Special Education certification</strong> preferred</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years classroom management experience preferred</li>
<li>Experience working with children from birth to school-age</li>
<li>Ability to:
<ul>
<li>Develop inclusive, engaging learning activities</li>
<li>Create lesson plans for diverse learning and communication styles</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Minimum of:
<ul>
<li>12 credits in early childhood education, special education, or related field<br />
<strong>OR</strong></li>
<li>2 years of equivalent experience teaching or supervising children with developmental or healthcare needs</li>
</ul>
