Finance Assistant

Citadel Source are supporting a growing client in the East Bristol area with the appointment of a Finance Assistant . This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a placement year or an AAT studier looking to build a career in finance within a supportive environment.

About you

We are looking for a hands-on and motivated individual with a strong work ethic, who takes pride in achieving both personal and team goals. You will be enthusiastic, committed, and an excellent communicator who can work effectively as part of a team. 

The role

As a Finance Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting and finance activities.

As a Finance Assistant, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Processing and coding purchase invoices - matching invoices to purchase orders where required
• Dealing with supplier queries and resolving issues
• Credit card reconciliation
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Helping prepare supplier payment runs
• Keeping supplier records accurate and up to date
• Helping with month-end tasks 
• Providing general support to the finance team

What the client has to offer

• A salary level of £26,000 to £28,000
• Hybrid working policy (2 days per week for the right candidate)
