<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.</li>
<li>At least 5 years of experience in public accounting focusing on audit/assurance services.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and cash basis tax accounting for healthcare organizations.</li>
<li>Experience in Healthcare & Continuing Care Communities highly preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of HUD, Cost Reporting, and GAGAS is a plus.</li>
<li>Proficiency in accounting and auditing standards.</li>
<li>Prior experience in overseeing personnel and engagements.</li>
<li>Excellent research, writing, verbal communication, and presentation abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Single Audits is advantageous.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of accounting and auditing software is necessary.</li>
<li><strong>CPA certification is preferred</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage Compilations, Reviews, Yellowbook Auditing, Write-Up work, and GAAP Auditing tasks.</li>
<li>Lead all assigned engagements, including team assignment, job planning, and scheduling in consultation with engagement Principal and assurance leadership.</li>
<li>Analyze and assess client’s internal controls, prepare or review work program and time budget for approval by a principal.</li>
<li>Support team members through training, guidance, and constructive feedback on work papers.</li>
<li>Discuss significant engagement findings with Principal or assurance group leadership that may involve accounting principles or financial statement presentation.</li>
<li>Prepare or review financial statements, notes, schedules, management letters, and tax returns for discussion with the client by Manager or director.</li>
<li>Evaluate each supervised team member’s performance and discuss the assessment before submitting to the Principal.</li>
<li>Participate in educational programs as an instructor or discussion leader.</li>
<li>Monitor the budget during the engagement and notify the principal if time exceeds the specified budget.</li>
<li>Identify additional work areas beyond the engagement scope, estimate time required, and obtain client’s approval before starting the work.</li>
<li>Assist new businesses with entity selection and software implementation.</li>
<li>Maintain technical and professional competence by staying updated on professional pronouncements.</li>
<li>Contribute to team members’ performance evaluations.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with clients and team members to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services efficiently.</li>
<li>Understanding of tax accounting concepts relevant to the Healthcare Industry.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ensure client and team satisfaction through open communication, meeting deadlines, and sharing tax-saving strategies proactively.</li>
<li>Work with Partners, Directors, Senior Managers, and staff on client management, professional development, and business expansion activities.</li>
<li>Supervise and guide associate and senior associate team members in managing responsibilities and deadlines on client engagements.</li>
<li>Develop skills to attract new clients, market the company’s services, and enhance business with existing clients.</li>
<li>Stay informed about legislative or professional changes and consult clients on potential impacts.</li>
<li>Participate in client development through networking events and represent the firm professionally in the business community.</li>
<li>Demonstrate commitment to the Firm’s Culture and Values and Client Service Principles.</li>
<li>Exhibit communication skills, intuition, and resourcefulness to inspire others to develop similar skills.</li>
