About the role: Justteachers are recruiting for one of our partner secondary schools in Peterborough (PE4) for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher. This forward-thinking and inclusive school is looking to shortlist candidates immediately for a forthcoming September start. The role will initially be offered on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to become a permanent appointment for the right candidate. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop scientific knowledge, curiosity and practical skills. You will join a supportive department dedicated to achieving excellent outcomes for all learners. Key Responsibilities: Experience teaching Science within a secondary school environment Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4 Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons Passion for raising attainment and encouraging student engagement Assess, monitor and support student progress effectively Create a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and participation Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality educational outcomes Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance and achievement Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Referenceable teaching experience within the last two years Excellent classroom management and communication skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning If you are interested in this position please apply below.
