About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an experienced SEMH Learning Mentor to work within an alternative provision in Milton Keynes. This full-time position begins in September 2026 and is expected to continue until July 2028. You will provide pastoral and academic support to young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Mentor pupils on an individual basis</li>
<li>Support attendance and engagement</li>
<li>Develop positive relationships with students</li>
<li>Encourage emotional resilience and confidence</li>
<li>Work alongside teaching and safeguarding teams</li>
</ul>
 Pre-requisites:
<ul>
<li>Experience working with vulnerable young people</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills</li>
<li>Ability to remain calm under pressure</li>
<li>Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one</li>
<li>Two references within the last two years from a related field</li>
</ul>
