Mechanical Engineer Full-Time Weston Mills, New York 12/17/2025 Compensation: 70000.-85000. / Annually Benefit Offered: YES Our client, a quality designer and manufacturer of industrial machined products, has an immediate need for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, to join our winning team in Weston Mills. Our candidate of choice will thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. You’ll work closely with a team of mechanical and electrical engineers to design, build, and support custom automation equipment, robotic systems, and tooling solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design and model mechanical systems, tooling, and assemblies using SolidWorks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on concept development, design reviews, and machine integration. - Support projects from design through build and commissioning, ensuring quality and functionality. - Create detailed drawings, BOMs, and documentation to support manufacturing. - Work on a variety of automation and machine design projects across multiple industries. KEY REQUIREMENTS: - B.S. or A.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics Technology. - 5+ years of SolidWorks design experience in mechanical or automation environments. - Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes. - Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal direction. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Preferred: Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for component and assembly validation.
