About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our team in Bury. This is a hands‑on, physically active position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential. Experience working with chemicals would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Counterbalance FLT
• Handle chemicals in line with site safety standards
• Load and unload vehicles and shipping containers
• Organise, store, and maintain yard stock and materials
• Keep the yard clean, safe, and well‑organised at all times
• Carry out general yard duties including manual handling
• Assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Perform basic daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Follow all health & safety procedures and site protocols
• Communicate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Report hazards, faults, or issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (essential)
• Experience in a yard or warehouse environment (preferred)
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
