About the Role
<p>We’re seeking a Telecom Documentation & MetaSolv Specialist to support and improve documentation governance, MetaSolv data integrity, and revision‑control discipline across telecom systems for our Anchorage, Alaska-based client. <p><ul><li>This is a 100% remote engagement, working Monday through Friday during standard Alaska business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AKT).</li></ul><p><ul><li>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex technical records and serving as a subject‑matter expert in documentation and configuration standards.</li></ul><p><ul><li>Depending on experience, this position may align at a <span style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">senior</span> or intermediate level.</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong><p><strong style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">senior</strong><strong>‑Level Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead large‑scale documentation cleanup and repository build‑out initiatives</li><li>Serve as the subject‑matter expert (SME) for MetaSolv structure, usage, and data quality</li><li>Review and approve documentation and MetaSolv changes to ensure compliance</li><li>Define documentation standards, templates, and revision‑control processes</li><li>Mentor junior designers and support audits and cross‑functional initiatives</li></ul><p><strong>Intermediate‑Level Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Independently manage documentation repositories and drawing sets</li><li>Perform end‑to‑end MetaSolv configuration from approved engineering inputs</li><li>Clean, standardize, and modernize legacy documentation</li><li>Enforce documentation and revision‑control standards</li><li>Support provisioning, operations, and billing teams through accurate records</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience with MetaSolv</li><li>Proficiency in Visio</li><li>Technical documentation and technical writing experience</li><li>Experience working with telecom records and drawing sets</li><li>Familiarity with CAD modeling (preferred)</li></ul><p><strong>Experience Level</strong></p><ul><li>Expert‑level <span style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">background</span> preferred (role may be scoped <span style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">senior</span> or intermediate based on experience)</li></ul><p>If you enjoy working at the intersection of telecom systems, documentation, and data integrity—and want to make a measurable impact—this is a great opportunity to explore.<p> </p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
