O’Neill & Brennan, a leading construction recruitment business with over 30 years of success and £100m+ turnover, is looking to appoint a Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our Birmingham office, specialising in permanent hires across the Commercial function.

With a strong regional presence and long-standing relationships across the Midlands, this is an opportunity to step into a high-demand market with genuine growth potential.

he Role

This is a 360 recruitment position, focused on delivering permanent recruitment solutions across Construction Commercial roles, including:

• Quantity Surveyors (Assistant to Senior)
• Commercial Managers
• Estimators
• Commercial Directors

You’ll be responsible for:

• Building and developing relationships with main contractors, developers, and subcontractors across the Midlands
• Winning new business and expanding existing client accounts
• Delivering high-quality permanent placements within the commercial space
• Building a strong network of commercial professionals
• Growing your desk with the backing of an established brand and support team

About You

• Experience within construction recruitment (permanent preferred)
• Exposure to commercial roles (QS, Estimating, etc.) is highly advantageous
• Strong business development and client management skills
• Commercially minded, driven, and organised
