You will also maintain records and administer medication and injections, as well as record vital signs.</p><h4>Essential Functions of the Role</h4><ul><li>You will help with examining and treating patients under a physician's guidance.</li><li>You will prepare exam rooms, clean before and after procedures, disinfect equipment, and restock supplies.</li><li>Talking to patients is important. You help patients to the exam room and get them ready.</li><li>Collecting data is essential. Patients provide medical history. Information goes in their file. Data used to assist physicians.</li><li>You will monitor vital signs like pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height. You'll help patients prepare for medical procedures, tests, and x-rays.</li><li>Your duties involve conducting patient assessments, processing electrocardiograms, and collecting blood and urine samples during testing.</li></ul><h4>Key Success Factors</h4><ul><li>Accurately documenting patient details in line with organizational guidelines.</li><li>Understanding the rules related to patient privacy and confidentiality (especially HIPPA regulations).</li><li>The capability to identify and report any signs of physical distress in patients to the healthcare staff.</li><li>A good grasp of medical terminology.</li><li>The knack for enhancing patient comfort and ease through approachable and friendly interactions.</li><li>The ability to proficiently follow instructions from medical professionals.</li><li>Knowledge about medical records and how to handle them.</li><li>A keen eye for detail.</li></ul><h4>Belonging Statement</h4><p>We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.</p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Completion of high school or equivalent is a must.</li><li>(BLS) Basic Life Support.
