A well-established SEND school in Southampton is seeking compassionate Autism Support Practitioners to join its dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in helping students achieve both academically and personally. Your Role Providing classroom support to pupils with Autism and associated needs Assisting with communication, emotional regulation and social interaction Supporting students to access learning activities Encouraging independence and confidence Working collaboratively with staff and families Ideal Candidate Experience within education, care or support settings is beneficial Positive and proactive attitude Ability to remain calm under pressure Passion for supporting young people with SEND Benefits £14.25 per hour Monday to Friday Term time only Long-term placement Friendly and supportive team Safeguarding & DBS Statement This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
