<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Construction Safety Specialist<p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $35–$45 per hour + Overtime<p><strong>Location:</strong> Aurora, CO (ZYN Manufacturing Facility)</p><h2><br /></h2><h2>Job Description</h2><p>We are seeking a hands-on Construction Safety Specialist to support a large-scale commercial new-build project at the ZYN Manufacturing Facility during its peak growth phase. This is a high-visibility, field-driven role focused on active engagement, real-time intervention, and injury prevention.<p>This is not a desk-based safety position. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong presence in the field, working directly with crews to reinforce safety expectations and ensure compliance across a high-manpower job site.</p><h2><br /></h2><h2>Required Skills (Needs)</h2><ul><li>OSHA 30 Certification (required)</li><li>Minimum 2+ years of field-based construction safety experience</li><li>Proven experience on large commercial new-build projects</li><li>Experience working on high-manpower sites (500+ workers)</li><li>Strong presence and confidence working in active jobsite environments with multiple trades</li><li>Ability to identify hazards, stop work, and redirect unsafe behavior when necessary</li><li>Experience conducting daily safety walks, field observations, and incident prevention efforts</li><li>Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety enforcement</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor</li><li>Ability to support flexible schedules, overtime, and night shifts as needed</li><li>Commitment to maintaining a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism</li></ul><h2><br /></h2><h2>Preferred Skills (Wants)</h2><ul><li>Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing or industrial construction projects</li><li>Prior experience working alongside dedicated safety teams on major job sites</li><li>Strong coaching and training skills for toolbox talks and crew engagement</li><li>Experience assisting with safety documentation and reporting</li><li>Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-activity construction environments</li></ul><h2><br /></h2><h2>Why Work Here?</h2><ul><li>High-visibility role on a major commercial construction project</li><li>Strong safety culture with full authority to stop work when necessary</li><li>Opportunity to work alongside an experienced safety team during peak activity</li><li>Competitive pay with consistent overtime opportunities</li><li>Short-term contract (90 days) with strong hours and schedule flexibility</li></ul><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, CO.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
