Salary: £40,000 + Pension + 28 Days Holiday
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Working within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to projects that place sustainability, low-carbon design, and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) at the heart of delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects and wants to be involved throughout the full design and construction lifecycle.
This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility whilst working on industry-leading developments. You will need to be able to manage and structure your workload whilst being content working away from a traditional collaborative and team led environment.
As a Structural Design Engineer, you will:
- Prepare conceptual and outline structural designs
- Complete detailed structural calculations in line with Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations
- Design structures using concrete, steel, masonry, and timber
- Produce detailed design drawings and technical specifications
- Develop fully coordinated Revit construction drawings
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and project teams
- Attend site visits during construction phases to monitor progress and provide technical advice
- Support tender and construction information production
- Work independently whilst collaborating closely with senior engineering leadership
To be considered, you will ideally possess:
- Experience as a Structural Engineer within residential, mixed-use, or commercial projects
- Strong technical knowledge across concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures
- Experience producing structural calculations to Eurocodes
- High proficiency in Revit
- Experience using structural design software such as:
- TEKLA Tedds
- SCIA Engineer
- Autodesk Robot
- Similar structural analysis packages
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
- Working towards or already holding MIStructE or MICE chartership
- Fully remote working
- Salary circa £40,000
