LGV Fitter

Your Duties as a LGV Technician:

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, mechanical handling equipment, generator trailers, and other fleet trailers.
• Source and purchase vehicle parts, working with the Parts Manager to control costs.
• Attend vehicle breakdowns and provide out-of-hours cover as part of the callout rota.
• Record all maintenance work and schedule servicing in line with Operator Licence requirements, liaising with the hire department.
• Deliver and collect generators and ancillary equipment using company vehicles, including refuelling when required.
• Support general yard operations, including loading, offloading, and maintaining tidy work areas and vehicles.
