About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Environment Assessment (IEA) practitioner to support the delivery, and potentially the design, of an IEA course for a military audience in the MENA region. The role requires strong subject matter expertise and the ability to deliver training aligned with UK and NATO STRATCOM doctrine
We’re ideally looking for individuals with experience between SNCO and OF-3
Training delivery dates are 18 June to 3 July
Key Responsibilities
•Deliver IEA training in accordance with NATO and UK STRATCOM doctrine
•Support course preparation, including lesson familiarisation and in-country set-up
•Contribute to course design and development (if engaged for design package)
•Facilitate syndicate discussions, practical exercises, and case studies
•Provide subject matter expertise on IEA methodologies and application
•Support course evaluation and continuous improvement
Required Experience & Qualifications
•Candidates should demonstrate one or both of the following:
•Practical experience in conducting Information Environment Assessment and applying outputs to inform planning and decision-making
•Experience delivering IEA-related training to military audiences
Additionally:
•Strong understanding of UK and/or NATO STRATCOM doctrine
•Familiarity with the Information Environment Assessment process and its components
Technical Experience
Experience using digital tools to monitor and analyse the information environment, including:
•Event tracking
•Social media monitoring
•Media monitoring
•Narrative analysis
•Understanding of how analytical outputs inform operational planning and decision-making
Desirable Background
•Former Regular or Reserve personnel
•Previous instructor or training delivery experience
•Experience working in joint, multinational, or strategic communications environments
•Suitably qualified civilians from MOD or related agencies

•Candidates must be available for the full delivery and preparation period
•Training delivery dates are 18 June to 3 July
•3 days of in-country preparation and lesson familiarisation.
