Role Overview
The Asset & Inventory Data Assistant supports operational teams by maintaining accurate inventory, asset, and maintenance data within internal systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment parts, maintenance records, and inventory levels are properly documented and organized to support efficient operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and inventory teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update inventory and asset records within internal systems.
• Create and update part numbers, descriptions, and related inventory data to ensure accuracy.
• Create and print labels including part descriptions, identification numbers, and storage locations to improve inventory organization.
• Support inventory optimization by reviewing historical part usage and helping maintain appropriate safety stock levels and reorder points.
• Assist with entering and validating preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) data in internal systems.
• Update operational dashboards and KPI boards with daily and weekly performance metrics.
• Assist with creating, modifying, or closing purchase requisitions based on operational needs.
• Collaborate with planners, equipment managers, and inventory teams to ensure procurement requests are accurate.
• Review system data to identify inconsistencies or gaps and assist in correcting inventory records.
• Support bulk data uploads and system updates to maintain accurate inventory and asset records.

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, or enterprise systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with inventory, asset management, or maintenance systems.
• Experience supporting operations, logistics, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
