Full Time | September Start | Paid to Scale

Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well‑resourced mainstream primary school in Chelmsford to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher for a full‑time role starting in September.

The Role

  • Full responsibility for a Year 2 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Assess, track, and support progress to ensure strong outcomes
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent)
  • Has experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2
  • Confident with behaviour management and classroom organisation
  • Passionate, adaptable, and committed to high‑quality teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
